Youth At Risk

Each year, hundreds, if not thousands of American Jewish youth travel to Israel to discover their ancestral land, their proud heritage, to study and to discover themselves. Unfortunately, many find themselves at risk and caught up in this fast paced and tantalizing society.

For some 50 young adults per year, GJARN supports the R.A.P. Yeshiva, a calm and easy going Yeshiva environment, where they not only study Talmud and Jewish Law, but some actually graduate as Rabbis, or ritual scribes (Sofer) or secular trades such as expert culinary chef or other.

Graduates of this program continue on to live productive lives and as positive role models in their respective communities.
